Last year, Philip Athans officially declared September 7 as National Buy a Book Day, encouraging readers to go out and buy a book, any book from anywhere to support the authors, publishers, and booksellers we all appreciate.
This was such a successful event that Phil Athans have decided to promote it every year, beginning with creating a foundation and commissioning an excellent website badge from Clifton Hill (you can find it in various sizes with copy/paste html below the cut). I’d like to encourage everyone who loves books to add the badge to their site if they have one, promote the idea through their social networks if you don’t, and come back on September 7 to tell us what books you bought.
Thank you in advance for helping us support and appreciate the hard work of the authors that entertain us, the publishers who work behind the scenes, and the booksellers who make it all possible.
