The Black Prism (GFTW review) has been out for a year now, but this brand new live action book trailer just goes to show why this book/series needs to become a live action film!
I especially like the depiction of the luxin. That is how magic should be displayed in movies.
(Kudos on making Gavin fair-skinned and Kip dark-skinned. It keeps the focus on the societal stratification by magic rather than race, and so does not fall into the standard rut of most epic fantasies that stratify via racial characteristics.)
