Essay: Capsule Reviews vs. Online/Lengthy Reviews

Yesterday, Adian at A Dribble of Ink posted my guest post which he entitled “On Capsule Reviews and Egotistical Bloggers” in which I delineate, from my own experience as a capsule and online reviewer, the differences between them and why it is important. I think Aidan’s use of the word “egotistical” is a bit stronger language than I intended (I don’t use that word anywhere in my portion of the post) but it isn’t wholly inaccurate either. Let me know what you think in the comments at the original post.

And are all of your reviews here longer versions of capsule reviews for Publisher's Weekly?
