I was so excited when I got this ARC for review (just started it) as I’ve been really curious about Russian fantasy/sci-fi. I’ve heard it’s been really popular over the last decade or so in Russia. Do you know of any other Russian f/s-f authors that have recently been translated for publication the US?

I really enjoy your reviews and round-ups.

  2. My understanding is that this is something of a first. Tor is attempting to open the floodgates though and I think if this book sells well, we will see a lot more coming out of Baba Yaga’s country.

Thanks for the compliments. But Pipedreamer Grey deserves the credit for the round-ups. He is my partner in that venture and it is all him.

Well then I must help Tor with their efforts and tell everyone to buy this book. Thanks for the info.

And I see I wasn’t looking at the poster name closely enough; my compliments and thanks to you both!
