My review of Marie Brennan’s second Elizabethan/Cromwellian history/fairy tale, In Ashes Lie, is up at Sacramento Book Review. I like this work because you don’t have to have read Midnight Never Come in order to enjoy the second novel, but it does add a great deal of value.
