Orbit – in partnership with a number of major ebook vendors – has launched a promotion offering one ebook for sale each month at the introductory price of $1.00. The promotion will include The Way of Shadows by debut author Brent Weeks, Empress by Karen Miller, as well as classics of science fiction such as Use of Weapons by Iain M. Banks.

That sounds great. I’ve been interested in reading the Brent Weeks book and I’ve wanted to try eBooks for a while.
I don’t have a reader, so I would be reading these on a laptop. Any idea what the best format to buy would be? I’m guessing the Adobe, but I’m not sure.
